Method:

1. To make the dough: In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, instant yeast, mixed herbs, milk powder, and oil. Gradually add water to make a soft dough. Grease the dough and knead for 5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise in warm setting for 45 minutes. I have used the dough proof mode in the oven to proof the dough. The dough should double in size.

2. To make the garlic butter: Combine butter, olive oil, garlic, chili flakes and mixed herbs.

3. Punch the dough and roll into 10 by 12 inch rectangle. Apply the garlic butter, spread 3/4 of the  cheese. Fold over and seal the edges. Divide it into equal parts.

4. Grease a baking pan, sprinkle some cornmeal or semolina and arrange the breadsticks. Cover and proof for 20 minutes in warm setting.

5. Preheat the air fryer at 350ºF(175ºC) or oven at 400ºF(205ºC). Brush with remaining garlic butter.Bake for about 12 minutes.Baking time will change depending on the oven. Top with remaining cheese if desired.

6. Soft, buttery garlic cheese breadsticks are ready to serve!
